Requirements:

Bridge, Fence, Gate, Utility or Other Crossing 

• Eagle Point Irrigation District's facilities must remain intact and undisturbed by the construction, modification, or repair.
• Any condition that will change the facility or the land surrounding the project must be restored
  to the former condition, and EPID must have in writing any proposed changes, prior to the project start.
• Must notify EPID one (1) week before construction is expected to reach EPID facilities.
• Landowner or contractor shall supply EPID with details of type of (construction, modification, repair) and to coordinate the time frame for which the construction of such modification or repair can be installed.
• All utility crossings (sewer, power, water, telephone) must not be less than twenty-four (24) inches deep and be encased with steel conduit, have a concrete cap at least six (6) inches deep over the full length of crossing.
• A location sign shall be installed showing an underground pipeline.
• Bridge construction, modification or repair should be completed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by District.
• The construction, operation and maintenance, will be completed without cost to the District and in such a manner as to cause no interference with the normal operation of the works of the District.
  
• All future reconstruction and maintenance work performed that requires disturbing the facilities, shall be restored in such a manner to not create any leakage in relationship to this crossing. Such measures may include gunite and/or gunite backfill. Such future work must be coordinated with the District.
  
• ​District is not responsible for maintenance and repairs to said facility or bridge. District shall have the right to inspect such facility and to require maintenance where such is reasonably required.
