We deliver water to 540 patrons who own around 8,260 acres of land. The water rights come from Big Butte Springs with 100 CFS . To deliver the water to Eagle Point, it takes an 18 mile long main canal with 165 miles of laterals.
We own a privately funded 1 megawatt power plant built below PacificCorp's plant in 1984. The plant was purchased by EPID in 1994 to help offset water rates paid by the patrons. The power plant helps bring down the water rates, which makes it one of the lowest rates in Southern Oregon at $51.00 per acre. |
