As a realtor for the buyer or for the seller, under OAR 696.805 or OAR 696.810 respectively, you are required to inform the parties of material facts regarding the property. In order to assist you with providing the required information to the buyer of the property, the District can provide you with the property's assessment information, whether the assessment has been paid for the year or will be due after the sale, and water delivery costs.
Because the property is within the District, the property receives the benefit of District services and is burdened by District assessments and fees. Unpaid assessments or fees may result in withholding of water, a lien on crops, or a lien on the property. All lands within the District are subject to the District Rules and Regulations. Prior to any changes by the buyer in water use or application method, the property owner must submit an application for a Change of Irrigation Practice to the District.
